RUSTPROOFING AT TRUCK WORKS SOUTH!

What is Rustproofing?

One of the myths out there about rustproofing is that only older cars can rust. Although, it is true that rust is found often in older cars due to the years of wear and tear, depending on the conditions of where you live and will be driving, new cars are even susceptible to rust. Truck Works South is here to make sure your vehicle is protected no matter if it is brand new or an older beauty!

With an older truck it is said that once the rust starts it can't be stopped, and well at some point that is true but if you catch it before it has spread to far getting rustproofing done can help to slow the spreading process. Rust is a chemical process, a new rust spot can be ground down and retouched if caught in time. If the rust is allowed to grow and build enough to be visible from the outside of the vehicle, there might not be much that can be done.

We use a wax-based, amber, anti-corrosive formula that has both outstanding corrosion protection and crevice penetration that is applied inside your vehicle's doors, hood, rockers, tailgate/rear hatch, inside the body panels and inside your frame so salt and moisture can't get to the bare metal.

If you are looking to add superior protection before the harsh conditions or the winter weather or the corrosive chemicals in the salts that keep the roads drivable, we suggest you also look in to coupling your rustproofing with our undercoating protection.
